My favorite things were the more active things—LOVED climbing the mountain and also the Great Wall. I wish I could have been there for the bicycle tour! Of course I liked the pandas too. Oh, and the overnight train was awesome!! I am glad we didn’t do it more than once, but that one overnight trip was great—watching the countryside go by by train is one of my favorite methods of travel, and I slept like a log. Great experience.

We are in the Beijing airport after the most wonderful trip you planned for us. Loved every minute of it. Thanks for planning this trip for us. I will highly recommend you to our friends in Miami.

Xi'an was great!  Loved the Bell Tower Hotel. We had seen the type of rollaway bed we assumed would be crammed into our room once our daughter arrived.  But no!  At the front desk, they gave us a key to the room next door to ours, which was a three-bed room. And, we had the pleasure of another fantastic guide, who identified himself only as "Gump" (not his real name).  Though less extroverted than Sunny, he was just as easy to talk to and delivered everything we requested; coordinated perf...

The second day with our Beijing guide was just as enjoyable as the first.  Saw the Beijing Zoo and Lama Temple, both very interesting.  In the afternoon Sunny helped us find and use an Internet cafe, which would have been really difficult without his help (there never seems to be a sign outside, and you have to go to the second floor). On the train, we enjoyed the luxury of two lower berths and the challenge of conversing with two Chinese businessmen from Xi'an who had next to no English.  O...
