The second day with our Beijing guide was just as enjoyable as the first.  Saw the Beijing Zoo and Lama Temple, both very interesting.  In the afternoon Sunny helped us find and use an Internet cafe, which would have been really difficult without his help (there never seems to be a sign outside, and you have to go to the second floor). On the train, we enjoyed the luxury of two lower berths and the challenge of conversing with two Chinese businessmen from Xi'an who had next to no English.  O...

We always felt very “welcome” in the country no matter where we were. The hotels were outstanding and the breakfasts were the perfect way start to the day. The food highlights were dumplings in Xi’an (we enjoyed the busy restaurant), and the excellent Beijing duck on our last night.

The trip has been marvelous – I am sure you will get some new clients from my friends – I have been raving on email to them.

We thought the trip went very well. Throughout the trip, the amount of free time was great and staying in cities for multiple nights was relaxing. This was the first group tour I came home from feeling relaxed. Nice job!

We loved all 3 cities we visited [Chengdu, Xi’An, BeiJing] and think you should repeat a similar tour itinerary for other tour groups. Our favorite hotel was the MinShan hotel in Chengdu because of the central location, the Eastern/Western continental breakfast, and the different amenities available there. The hotels in the other cities were okay – actually for the price we paid for them, they were quite comfortable and pleasant.
