Thanks so much for all of your help with the trip! Just in case it’s useful : my mom and aunt were so incredibly happy with Lulu – said she is “simply wonderful”, and “one of the best guides” they had in China.

My favorite things were the more active things—LOVED climbing the mountain and also the Great Wall. I wish I could have been there for the bicycle tour! Of course I liked the pandas too. Oh, and the overnight train was awesome!! I am glad we didn’t do it more than once, but that one overnight trip was great—watching the countryside go by by train is one of my favorite methods of travel, and I slept like a log. Great experience.

Our tour to China this summer was a Grand Slam- everything about the trip was wonderful. At each city in China we were met punctually at the airport by our guide. Each hotel we stayed at was first class, comparable to any 5 star hotel in the USA. Service everywhere we stayed was impeccable. Every day our guide and driver whisked us around China with precision, knowledge, politeness, and most importantly, flexibility. We had a great trip! The travel was so much easier with a car, driver, and guide leading us around. We felt very comfortable in China even when we were “on our own” for the few periods of free time. The highlight of the trip for me was the visit to the panda preserve in Chengdu and having the opportunity to hold a panda.
